AME is made up of residents, farmers, local businesses, and people who love and value Epynt. We are independent, volunteer-run, non-party political, and united by a shared commitment to protecting the character, culture, and ecological integrity of this unique upland landscape.
What we do
• Provide accurate, accessible information about proposals affecting Epynt
• Support communities to participate fully in planning and consultation processes
• Identify environmental, social, cultural, and economic impacts
• Work constructively with elected representatives and agencies
• Promote long-term wellbeing, fairness, and accountability
Our approach
We are apolitical; AME is not affiliated or aligned with any political party, and will never be. We seek to work with anyone where our aims and objectives overlap and will argue our case based on the merits of the evidence available and the views and opinions of our local communities and supporters.
We aim to operate with transparency, honesty and openess, in ways that encourage people to come together and find solutions that respect and recognise both the challenges facing us and the need to protect what we have.
